Humanadyne is the largest health-service organization in the world, with hospitals in almost every major city and thousands of Emergency Medical Service franchises. The company maintains a massive orbital resort/hospital, the Valhalla, which contains exclusive mental and physical rehabilitation facilities (see below), plus hospitals on most major colony worlds.

The Valhalla is in a geosynchronous LEO over the Mediterranean. It is designed in the shape of a spoked wheel which rotates to provide 1g, with a large hexagonal shaft containing a zero-g clinic extending through the hub of the wheel. 300 medical and support staff man the station, which has a 1000 patient capacity. It is ostensibly a medical facility designed to handle those who require treatment in a weightless or near-weightless environment, but it also provides extremely expensive services to a great deal of those who work and live in space.
